17 - 18 June - Little Moreton Hall, Nr Congleton

Playing throughout the day and joining in with the Midsummer Madness!  Join Piva to celebrate the festival in Tudor style, parade with George and the Dragon and even join in with a brawl!  Further details from: www.nationaltrust.org.uk

29 June - Little Moreton Hall, Nr Congleton

A very special evening in store!  We are delighted to be presenting An Audience with Piva in the courtyard of this iconic building.  Fingers crossed it will be a sultry summer’s evening for this concert performance.  Tickets cost £15.00 which includes complimentary glass of wine.  Tickets must be bought in advance.  Further details from www.nationaltrust.org.uk/

30 September -Workshop Day, Brighton Early Music Festival

Eric Moulder, assisted by Jane, will be running this one day workshop as part of the Brighton Early Music Festival.  The theme of this year’s festival is “Roots - Discovering the Tangled Origins of Classical Music”.  The workshop will be exploring the roots of folk music and looking to where Playford got his inspiration.  It will appeal to early music and folk musicians alike.  Further details from BEMF: www.bremf.org.uk/

21 October -Swalcliffe Concerts, nr Banbury

We’re so pleased to be taking part in this concert series and we will be unveiling our new show “Flower of All Cities”, which takes the music of Elizabethan London as a starting point.  Tickets and further information from  swalcliffe.org/

Christmas Dates - 2017

Although it’s still a long way away, please make a note in your diaries now for our Christmas shows this year.  Always a sell-out and always great fun and guaranteed to help get you in the Christmas spirit.  We’re so pleased that we’re being joined by cornettist and all round superb musician, David Jarratt-Knock.  

19 - 21 February 2018, Real Roots! Halsway Manor, nr Taunton, Somerset

This will be our third residential music course at Halsway Manor and it’s great to be back.  This is your chance to come and play with Piva, explore popular dance music of the period on an array of instruments.  All instruments welcomed and there will be opportunities to try curtals, crumhorns, shawms, bagpipes - and more!  There will be an open concert on the Tuesday evening.  Booking and further details from Halsway halswaymanor.org.uk/
